Mr. T’s Cinderella Story

Posted on Wednesday, November 18, 2020
Dr. Angela Ivey towels off Mr. T after a soothing bath to ease his muscular tightness.

Once upon a time, the staff at the Richmond SPCA had one wish, and it was that a special little dog would regain his ability to walk.

Surrendered into our care paralyzed from the waist down, with no control of his bladder and suffering urine burns, Mr. Triste (Mr. T, for short) began his journey at the Richmond SPCA in July. That is when he met his Fairy Godmother, Coordinator of Surrenders Jenn Walters.

Jenn was heartbroken at Mr. T’s initial condition and prognosis, but she knew he had the best chance in the world at the Richmond SPCA under the expert care of Drs. Angela Ivey and David Molinas.

Watch Mr. T’s story unfold, below:

The story of Cinderella is a timeless tale of the transformative power of kindness and love, and the impact it can have on someone in need. At the Richmond SPCA, we transform the lives of pets in need every day, just like Mr. T, thanks to your generous support.

Our Cinderella Fund is dedicated to help the sick, injured, and infant animals we take into our care. Support our Cinderella Pets, like Mr. T, who depend on our staff, donors, and adopters to make their happily ever afters possible.
