URGENT NEEDS DOCUMENTS JOB SIGN-UP FOSTER CARE INTRANET
Welcome to the Richmond SPCA Volunteer Intranet! Active volunteers may use this page to sign up online for volunteer jobs, download important documents, view and post updates and news, and more! Because training is required for most volunteer assignments at the Richmond SPCA, much of this information is password protected and viewable by active volunteers and current employees only. Be sure to read your weekly volunteer eNewsletter for the latest updates and job needs. For more information, please call 804-521-1329 or email Timothy Joyner in the volunteer department at tjoyner@richmondspca.org. We're so grateful for your time!
Please remember to always park in the side lot or the School for Dogs parking lot (with Lakeside Appliance sign) and use the back door instead of the main entrance which may be locked. When you turn off of Hermitage Road onto Rhoadmiller Street, instead of making the first right into the main lot with the large Richmond SPCA sign, make the second or third right into one of these lots.

Sewing Club:
Our Sewing Club meets in the second floor auditorium of the Robins-Starr Humane Center every Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. with their sewing machines and supplies. Club members make pet blankets and other items such as cat hammocks as needed. They also repair, reuse and repurpose old bedding from our laundry room. Sewing experience is not necessary, only willingness to help! If you don’t have a machine of your own, they will find a suitable project for you. Other helpful supplies you can bring include the following: (these items can also be donated to the Richmond SPCA for use by the Sewing Club)
- Fabric (any size and type, though flannel and fleece are especially nice)
- Good fabric scissors
- Quilt batting
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Thread
You can find Sewing Club updates in the weekly volunteer eNewsletter. If you are interested in joining the Sewing Club, simply attend the next meeting to get started!
