We were adopted: April 20 – 26, 2020

Posted on Monday, April 27, 2020

Hundreds of our Facebook fans liked and shared Charlie’s photo last Wednesday, and we are delighted to report that he is one of 45 pets our team united with loving homes last week. This sweet senior dog was found abandoned in our humane center parking lot in early March. He was in poor condition and was suffering from a hernia, advanced dental disease and a heart murmur. After undergoing surgery to repair the hernia and a deep dental cleaning, Charlie made a full recovery and was made available for adoption. Congratulations to Charlie and the other 44 pets who found homes last week. View these precious alumni in our galleries below!

This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
