We were adopted: June 1 – 7, 2020

Posted on Monday, June 08, 2020
Behavior and Training Coordinator Jackie Laubacher took some time to hangout with Max before she wished him goodbye and presented Max's adopter with a painting by volunteer Susan Randolph Kernyat.

Earlier this week, our staff wiped away happy tears as long-term resident Max left our building. During his three years in our care, our resident “polar bear” dog won many of our hearts with his lovable overbite and quirky personality. We wish Max and his guardian Keith many years of happiness!

Along with Max, 63 other amazing dogs and cats went to permanent, loving homes. We were thrilled that so many wonderful families and pets found their perfect matches, and we look forward to making more matches this week! View our recent alumni in the galleries below.

Please check our website for new information and details related to our planning and related operational changes, as that is where we will be posting updates. This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
