We were adopted: June 15 – 21, 2020

Posted on Monday, June 22, 2020

We’re pleased to report that last week we completed 57 adoptions! This includes 24 dogs and 33 cats. We wish our adopters and their new four-legged family members many years of happy purrs and wagging tails!

If you are interested in adopting a pet from the Richmond SPCA, please visit our website and complete the appropriate survey (cat or dog) then leave a message with your phone number with our adoption staff, either by emailing adoption1@richmondspca.org or calling 804-521-1307. You’ll be placed on the call list for the first available adoption counselor. We are doing our usual adoption counseling by phone before appointments are scheduled to visit with a pet. We look forward to helping you find your next best friend!

Please check our website for new information and details related to our planning and related operational changes, as that is where we will be posting updates. This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
