We Were Adopted: August 30 – September 5, 2021

Posted on Monday, September 06, 2021
This adoption news is very "bien" indeed! Sweet 8-year-old Bien met his match this weekend after spending close to a year in our care.

We celebrated the Labor Day weekend with the adoption of Bien! Bien had been in our care since September 11, 2020, and we are thrilled to announce that he met his match just shy of a year of his surrender date. Congratulations to Bien and his new loving guardian Mason. Check out the 69 other wonderful pets who were adopted this week in our galleries below!

On the search for your next feline or canine companion? Our adoption center is open from noon to 5 p.m. today and our adoption counselors would be happy to introduce you to the many precious pets in our care. Please note that the Richmond SPCA has returned to requiring all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to mask while inside our humane center, veterinary hospital and training facilities. We are updating our mask policy in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who recommended vaccinated people in areas of “high” or “substantial” transmission of Covid-19 resume masking indoors. Richmond City and the surrounding counties have reached these designations. Before visiting, please review our COVID-19 policies.
