We Were Adopted: September 23 – 29, 2024

Our adoption bell rang as we said goodbye to 87 amazing furry friends! Today we are celebrating the adoptions of many wonderful pets including Chips, Munchkin and Jethro! We are also excited to share that we finished off our fiscal year by cheering on our adoption counselors who reached 3,984 adoptions and our admissions team who completed 4,001 transfers. We are so excited for our newest alumni and our wonderful staff who amazes us every day with their life-saving work.

Notable adoptions

Chips: Chips had been in and out of our care since 2020 and we are excited to celebrate his adoption over the weekend! This sweet boy had dealt with a few medical issues including diabetes and a large ear mass making it challenging to find his purrfect home. We are so thrilled that he found his match!

Munchkin: Munchkin has been on the hunt for her loving, lasting home since March and this sweet girl finally found a place to call her own! Congratulations to Munchkin and her new guardian!

Jethro: This sweet boy is another one of our long term residents who we are excited to celebrate today! Jethro had been in and out of our care since April and was adopted over the weekend. We are so happy for this sweet boy!

Did someone say over 4,000 intakes?

We reached an incredible milestone over the weekend and hit our end of fiscal year goal with over 4,000 animal intakes! Today, we are celebrating our wonderful admissions team, whose work not only impacts our humane center, but others in surrounding areas. Pictured below is sweet Gaya (kitten), who marks our 4,001 intake of the year!

A special highlight for adoptions

Our incredible adoption counselors sent home 3,984 pets this fiscal year. We are so thankful for such a hard working team who cares so deeply for the pets in our care and the people in our community who chose to adopt a pet this year.

Staff adoption

We also had another staff adoption! Our Manager of Humane Education adopted sweet Terry last week and we are so happy for the both of them!
