We Were Adopted: November 25 – December 1, 2024
We are so thankful for all of our adopters! Because of adopters like you, 84 precious pets found their loving, lasting homes last week. The wait is finally over for long term residents like Faleena, Secret, Miranda and Skipper who finally found their person. Other sweet pets like Furrgie and Pickletoes also found their purrfect match! We are so happy for our recent alumni and their new families.
Don’t forget! Thanks to our friends at Bissell Pet Foundation, all adult dog adoption fees are reduced to $50 from now until December 17 for the nationwide Empty the Shelters event. We hope you’ll stop by and adopt one of our sweet canines just in time for the holidays.

Notable adoptions
Faleena: Faleena was first brought into our care in June and has been looking for a home that would be the right fit since then. We’re so excited to share that Faleena found her match right before Thanksgiving, and got to spend it with her new family!
Secret: Secret came into our care in October and found her loving, lasting home over the weekend. Congratulations to Secret and her new adopter!
Skipper: After spending some time in our humane center and then some much needed time away in foster care, Skipper finally found his pawfect home! We are over the moon that Skipper found his person after 106 days in our care.
Miranda: Sweet Miranda found her temporary place with us in October where we loved on her until she found her own place to call home last week. We are so excited for this precious gal and her new family!
Thanksgiving with fosters
Many of our foster pets enjoyed a much needed break from the shelter over Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of our incredible fosters who opened their homes to homeless pets in need and showed them some holiday love.
