We Were Adopted: December 2 – 8, 2024
This one goes out to the dogs! We are so excited to share that long-term dogs like Spade, Crop Top and Peach Pit found their pawfect homes last week. In total, 19 dogs, 64 cats and one guinea pig found families just in time for the howlidays. If you’re looking to bring a pet home soon, now may be the most wonderful time of the year to do it. Adoption fees for all adult dogs are reduced to $50 until December 17 to celebrate Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event. We hope you’ll stop by and meet some of our precious pets!

Notable adoptions
Crop Top: Crop Top came into our care in August and spent four months looking for her loving, lasting home. This sweet senior lady was finally adopted over the weekend and we are so excited for her and her new guardian!
Peach Pit: Peach Pit is a sweet girl who had been in our care since July. She always had many friends at our humane center, from staff members to volunteers to the general public who came to visit her. With a little patience, Peach Pit finally found a place to call home. Congratulations!
Spade: Our volunteers and staff met Spade in July, and he became a big part of many of our lives. We are so happy he is going to make an even bigger impact on someone else’s life. Spade found his perfect home last week, and we couldn’t be more excited for him and his new family!
Field trip fun!
Popsicle: Popsicle had a fun weekend getaway at a farm for some much needed vacation time … after all, we all need a vacation sometimes – even our precious pets! This sweet girl had a great time with one of our volunteers in the great outdoors. We are always looking for more people to open their homes with our long-term pets so they can relax while waiting for a loving family to call their own.
