We Were Adopted: December 9 – 15, 2024
Last week, we celebrated the adoptions of 17 dogs, 57 cats and one rabbit! Long-term pets like Clawdine, Lemon Twist, Small Chunk and Sprite found loving homes for the holidays. We’re so thrilled for our newest alumni and their guardians!
If you’ve been wanting a new pup, this is your sign to come adopt! Tomorrow is the last day to participate in Bissell Pet Foundation’s nationwide Empty the Shelters event, and adopt one of our adult dogs for a reduced adoption fee of $50. Clawdine: This purrfect gal had been in our care since September and found her match last week! Huge congratulations to Clawdine and her new guardian.
Lemon Twist: Lemon Twist had been in our care since September and found a home during our Empty the Shelters event. We’re so happy for this sweet pup his and new family!
Small Chunk: We’re so excited to celebrate Small Chunk today! After two months in our care, this handsome boy found his loving, lasting home during
Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event.
Sprite: This sweet and goofy senior came into our care in September and we are so excited to share that she was adopted last week. Join us in congratulating Sprite and her new family!
Alumni update
Beatrice: Beatrice is among the 17 dogs who found their loving, lasting homes last week! We already received a sweet update from her new guardian:
“[Beatrice] is an absolute dream. It’s been less than a week and this girl has made herself SO at home, I love it. She’s great with car rides, doesn’t pay any mind to my 12.5-year-old sassy cat, is a total bed hog and is the most food obsessed dog I’ve ever met. When I’m at work, she curls up i one of her three beds under my desk and keeps my feet warm.”

Empty the Shelters
There’s one more day left to participate in Bissell Pet Foundation’s nationwide Empty the Shelters event! So far, our adoptions team has found a match for 33 dogs during this promotion.
