We Were Adopted: December 23 – 29, 2024

We are thrilled to share that 41 pets found their match last week, including long-term cats like Claude and Ocean Eyes! As the year comes to a close, we are so grateful that 3,760 pets were placed into loving, lasting homes in 2024, thanks to our wonderful staff, volunteers and those who chose to adopt.
Our adoption center will close early at 5 p.m. tomorrow, December 31 in celebration of New Year’s Eve. We will also be closed on New Year’s Day, but will return to our regular hours on January 2. We hope you, your loved ones and your precious pets have a wonderful New Year! We are excited to see what’s in store for us for 2025.

Notable adoptions
Claude: Claude was one of the sweet cats who had been in our care for quite some time. He first came to us in October, and despite how loving he was, he was very nervous around new people, making it difficult to find his new guardian. Luckily, Claude found someone loving and patient to call his new best friend. We are so excited for him and his new family!

Ocean Eyes: This precious boy came into our care in August and we all fell in love with him and his beautiful blue eyes! During his time with us, Ocean Eyes was incredibly sweet and loving and always wanted a lap to sit on. When he first arrived, he was diagnosed with diabetes, which is now in remission, as well as MRSA. These medical conditions are likely what kept him in our care for a longer period of time, but we are so excited to share that he found his loving, lasting home last week. Congratulations to this sweet boy and his adopter!
