We Were Adopted: January 13 – 19, 2025

We had another pawesome week full of adoptions! Last week, 66 pets found their loving, lasting homes including long-term pets like Toelene and Ukulele. Our tails are wagging with excitement that these two found their new best buds. Huge congratulations to the 52 cats and 14 dogs who found their new families. Be sure to check out our latest blog post to find out who else went home last week.

Heartwarming moment of the week
Notable adoptions
Toelene: Toelene had been in our care since February 2023 and found her loving, lasting home just before hitting her two year mark with us. She made so many friends here – from our staff and volunteers to our wonderful community who came in to visit her. During her stay with us, she was such a bright light and put a smile on so many faces. We are so happy for Toelene and her adopter. Congratulations!

Ukulele: Ukulele found her way to us in April 2024 and we are so happy to share she found her match last week! Ukulele faced a few different medical diagnoses, making it a bit of a challenge to find someone who could give her the right home. With a bit of patience, Ukulele’s person finally walked through our doors. We couldn’t be more happy for her and her new guardian!

Pumpernickel: Pumpernickel came into our care in November and was a little nervous at first. She’s one of our cats who needed a little bit of time warming up to new people before feeling fully relaxed. After a few months in our humane center, Pumpernickel’s adopter came in last week to take her to her new home. Congratulations to Pumpernickel and her new best friend!
