We Were Adopted: February 24 – March 2, 2025
Last week, 59 pets found a place to call home. Among those, were cats like Alfie and Tina Turner as well as long-term residents like Webber and Ulsan! Rorschach, a sweet rabbit in our care, also found his pawfect match. We are so excited for our newest alumni and their new guardians.
If you’ve been considering bringing a furry friend into your life, there’s no better time than now. From March 3 – 9 we need you to get your head in the game as we celebrate Mutt Madness. For the whole week, you can name your price on any of our adult dogs.

Notable adoptions
Morgan: Morgan is a sweet hound who was in and out of our care since May 2024. He was a little timid, but if you knew him well, you knew how sweet of a pup he was. After a long and patient wait, Morgan finally found his match. We are so excited for this amazing boy and his adopter!
Ulsan: Ulsan’s story with us started in 2016 when he and his six littermates were rescued from a South Korean meat farm. Since then, he had spent some time with us while he awaited the perfect household. While in our care, Ulsan quickly became friends with our staff and trainers and he started to make himself at home. While we knew home for him wasn’t going to be with us forever, we made him happy and comfortable until someone could provide him with the environment he needed and deserved. Luckily, Ulsan found his person last week. Huge congratulations to Ulsan and his new guardian!
Webber: Webber was transferred to us October 2024 due to hurricanes affecting North Carolina shelters at the time. While in our care, Webber was loved on by so many, and he even participated in our Dog Kissing Booth and Dog Speed Dating events. He was truly a love bug and we are so thrilled that he found his loving, lasting home last week.
