We Were Adopted: March 3 – 9, 2025

Posted on Monday, March 10, 2025

Thanks to our amazing community, 61 pets found their loving, lasting homes last week including Taxicab, Lilo, Amira and Artie. We are so thrilled for our recent alumni and their adopters. Every adoption is a new beginning, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make these happy endings possible. 💙

Notable adoptions

Lilo: Lilo has been in and out of our care since 2021 and always put a smile on our faces. While with us, Lilo was always a fun and spunky girl with the cutest smile. We know she’s going to make her new family so happy. Congratulations to this precious pup and her adopter.

Artie: Artie was a sweet pup who came into our care October 2024. He was a goofy pup who we knew would make someone’s perfect sidekick. He was so personable and friendly that he even spent a Monday morning at the news, getting his TV debut. After several months in our care, Artie found his match last week. We are so excited for him and his new guardian!

Alumni updates

Scamp (now Biscuit): Biscuit was adopted on Valentine’s day when he found his pawfect match with his new family. We recently received these sweet photos of Biscuit enjoying his new home.

Valentino (now Teddy): We recently received this heartwarming update from Teddy’s new family.

“Valentino is absolutely thriving in our home! We have decided to name him Teddy because he is an absolute teddy bear who loves to constantly snuggle.  He is made of all things good!  He has enjoyed going on walks to our neighborhood lake, playing in the snow, learning to play with toys, as well as being so gentle playing with our 3 year old son Mason. They are two peas in a pod!

I fell in love with Teddy the second I saw him posted on your website the day he was flown from California and I had been constantly refreshing your “available dogs” page to see if he was available. I checked Sunday morning and still did not see him and refreshed the page right at noon and saw his sweet face and told my husband to put on his shoes because we had to go get him!  We are so thankful to have him in our home especially after having to painfully say goodbye to our 15 year old Jack Russell in September. We are a dog loving home that just had not been ok without having a dog to share it with and we know Teddy is the missing piece. We are so thankful for everyone who helped get him to us and are happy to talk to anyone!  I have attached a few photos from the past few days.”
