We Were Adopted: March 10 – 16, 2025
Last week, our incredible adoptions team found homes for 56 pets! We are deeply grateful for everyone who has chosen to adopt and open up their homes to pets in need. Congratulations to all of our newest alumni and their adopters.

Alumni update
Amore (now Bruce): Amore (now Bruce) was recently adopted and his family shared this sweet update and photos.
“Hey there! Wanted to give you all at the Richmond SPCA an update about Amor. The family all brainstormed after leaving the SPCA when we adopted him and decided that since Amor wasn’t his original name anyway, that we would come up with a name for him. Because of his size and our Fandom, We liked the Hulk/Bruce Banner and Amor is now…. Bruce (The Bann-Man) Bouchard, Bann-Man, the goodest of good boys. Our family absolutely was completed the day we found him. He has adapted wonderfully and has fallen right into step with all of us. We are so thankful to have him. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac which gives us lots of security in taking him on multiple long walks throughout the day which he loves. His weight has came down noticeably we believe and he’s getting a bit more pep in his step. He’s such a blessing to our family. We are so grateful for him and everyone at the SPCA who brought us all together. I will follow this message with links of lots of photos of our big boy.”
