Our incredible adoptions team helped find homes for 60 pets last week, including Noonsy, Zeus, Hangry Joe and Skii. We are so excited for our newest alumni and their guardians! See the galleries below to see the rest of the cuties who found families of their own.

Louisiana SPCA Transfer
Last week, we welcomed five new dogs into our care from the Louisiana SPCA! Thanks to the support of BISSELL Pet Foundation and Rescue Riders Pet Transport, these pups made a safe journey and will stay with us until they’re ready to find their loving, lasting homes. We were also proud to serve as a central hub for our friends at Virginia Beach SPCA and Norfolk SPCA, who made the trip to Richmond to bring even more Louisiana pups back to their shelters.
Be sure to keep an eye on our website to see when these adorable dogs become available for adoption. Their website photos will be marked with the state Louisiana for easy identification. We can’t wait to introduce them to you!
Feline the Sunshine – notable cat adoptions
Last week, we ran our Feline the Sunshine adult cat adoption promo and found purrfect homes for many of our long-term cats. During this adoption special, cats like Noonsy, Shy Violet, McSquiggans and Hangry Joe found their match after many months of trying to find the right fit. Congratulations to everyone who brought home a new friend!
