We Were Adopted: April 7 – 13, 2025

Last week, 64 furry friends found their match! Thanks to you, 45 cats, 18 dogs and one bunny found loving, lasting homes. Among those were long-term pets like Knox, Fault Line and Fitzroy. We are so thankful to our incredible community for opening their homes and hearts to pets in need.
While we are celebrating our recent alumni, there’s still more work to be done for homeless pets. From April 14 to 18, adoption fees are 50% off for all dogs 50 pounds and over as we participate in Best Friends Animal Society’s Partner Up Challenge. We need YOU to adopt so that we can make additional space to transfer in more pets from other overcrowded shelters. What are you waiting for? Come by and meet our biggest sweethearts!

Notable adoptions
Fault Line: Fault Line first came into our care in January 2025 and was looking for her home ever since. After three months in our care, this sweet girl finally found her loving, lasting home. Huge congratulations!

Fitzroy: Fitzroy came into our care in November 2024 as part of a disaster response transfer from Tennessee when Hurricane Helene affected the area. Fitzroy had been in and out of our care while trying to find his purrfect match and he finally found his person last week! We are so thrilled for Fitzroy and his new guardian.

Knox: Our staff and volunteers first met Knox in February 2023 and he quickly became a staff favorite. We fell in love with his goofy demeanor and adorable face, and we feel so lucky to have been able to get to know Knox over the years, but we feel even luckier to have wished him a fond farewell last week. Congratulations to Knox and his new family!
