Last week, our incredible adoptions team united 50 pets with their pawfect matches. We’re thrilled for our recent alumni and the wonderful community members who opened their homes to pets in need.

Notable adoptions

Ozzie: Ozzie came into our care April 2024 and found his pawfect home last week! When Ozzie first came into our care, our veterinarian discovered that he had chronic GI issues as well as a skin infection. Our wonderful veterinary staff were able to provide treatment and get him to a much more comfortable place. We are so excited that after a year in our care, he finally found his new family. Congratulations!

Scroop: Scroop first came into our care April 2023 and quickly became a staff favorite. With her big green eyes and confident personality, Scroop made a lot of friends while at the Richmond SPCA, but we are so happy that she found the friend that means the most. Congratulations to Scroop and her new bestie!

Itty Bitty: Itty Bitty found her way to the Richmond SPCA in March and she was very shut down and nervous. After spending some time in foster care, Itty Bitty started coming out of her shell. Luckily, she found her loving, lasting home last week. Congratulations!

Hotch: We met Hotch in February 2024 and he became such great friends with our staff and trainers! After spending over a year in our care, this sweet boy finally met his match. Join us in congratulating Hotch and his new family!
