Adolescent Socialization and Play Sessions

Ongoing
Mondays at 8:00 p.m.
For older puppies and adolescent dogs from 20 – 32 weeks of age (4-8 months).

Please review our Covid-19 training class policies before attending your first play session.

Instructor: Lesley Gurule

Socialization teaches a puppy to enjoy interactions and to be comfortable and confident with other animals, people, environments, and activities. It is important to continue a young dogs socialization into their adolescence.  For dogs 20 – 32 weeks of age, this is socialization-based play involving lots of play with dogs and humans.  We recommend signing up for at least four sessions. You choose which dates to attend.  Dogs must be current on vaccinations per the instructions of your veterinarian. Additionally, they must have been in their home at least 10 days.  Dogs will age out of this class at 32 weeks.  We recommend taking one of our other puppy classes or Surviving Adolescence while you are enrolled in play sessions or immediately following.

One hour play sessions in Smoky’s Training Center.
