Agility B for Reactive Dogs

April 7 – June 2, 2019 (no classes held April 21 or May 26)
Sundays at 7:30 p.m.

Instructor: Mel Hardwick

Prerequisite: completed Agility A or equivalent

This class is specifically designed for dogs who are not dog aggressive but reactive (growl, bark, or lunge toward dogs while on leash or through barriers). Agility B is an agility class for dogs and handlers who have experience on agility equipment and want additional exposure and practice. Dogs and handlers will learn or review basic handling skills, practice short sequences of obstacles, and polish equipment skills. Dog agility is a sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. It’s great fun for both dog and handler and is a wonderful way to bond with your canine companion.

All dogs must be 6 months or older and current on vaccinations. Spaying or neutering strongly recommend.

Seven-week, one-hour class in Track & Training Center.
