Flyball Run Throughs

April 18 – June 6, 2019 (no run throughs May 2)
Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

Host: Emily Neal

Flyball Run Throughs are a great way to continue practicing skills learned in class or an opportunity to try out the sport with your dog. You are not required to have previous flyball experience, however keep in mind that this is not a regular class with full instruction.

If you are looking for a flyball class, please register for our next session of “Intro to Flyball”. If there are no classes currently open then email us to be added to the interest list.

Dogs must be current on vaccinations and at least 1 year old. Dogs must be tolerant of other dogs and people in a high-energy environment. Dogs should have basic obedience training, a strong recall and be able to safely work off leash with their handler. Your dog needs to be in good physical condition to run, jump, and make quick turns, and mentally developed to understand the obedience skills noted.

Please RSVP to the host for each date you plan to attend no later than 24 hours in advance. Keep in mind that the instructor will not come to the facility unless there are people who have RSVP’d by 5:30pm on the previous day.

You will be emailed within 2 hours of start time if the run through is cancelled. Cost is $10 per dog and is due when you arrive. We can only accept check or cash (checks should be made out to: Richmond SPCA).

If you are not a current class student who has already submitted your dog’s vaccine records, please read requirements on class page or sidebar.
