How Dogs Communicate Workshop
Thursday March 26, 2020
6:15 – 7:45 p.m.
Instructor: Alisha Fritz
When you want to make a good impression while greeting another person, do you make direct eye contact, smile, and reach out to shake hands? Did you know that in dog language staring, showing teeth, and hovering are all threats? Join us for a presentation on understanding how your dog communicates via body language.
Dogs do not use verbal communication in the same way as humans, but we can learn to listen and understand them. We will cover how to tell when your dog is excited, friendly, confident, or frightened.
This workshop is beneficial to anyone who owns, works with, or interacts with dogs. Time will be left at the end of the session to answer questions about individual dogs.
This workshop is for people only, please leave pets at home. 90 minutes in School for Dogs
