Introduction to Canine Enrichment – A Paws-on Workshop

December 17, 2023
Sunday 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Please review our Covid-19 training class policies before attending your first class.

Instructor: Jo Bignoux McMahon

You may hear people talk about dog enrichment or see posts about it on social media, but what exactly is it? Is it really that important? (Yes!) Will your dog like it? (Yes!) In this workshop, we’ll cover what enrichment is, why it’s so important and how to incorporate these fun and easy activities into your dog’s life. Bring your dog, your dog’s dinner and your dog’s favorite treats. We’ll provide the rest. You’ll go home with a happy dog, an enrichment toy and lots of ideas!

To help keep your dog contained while you work on projects, a dog who is comfortable in a crate or a second person to hold the leash is helpful.
What to bring:

  • Your dog wearing a flat collar or harness
  • 6-foot leash, no retractable leashes or flexi leads
  • At least 3 types of soft treats your dog loves (hot dogs, cheese, chicken, etc.)
  • Your dog’s kibble

60 minute workshop in Smoky’s Training Center.
