Avoiding Pet Problems in the “New Normal”

Saturday March 13, 2021
6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Instructor: Janet Velenovsky

For nearly a year, during COVID-19, our dogs and cats have gotten used to a routine that has us at home and by their sides the overwhelming majority of the time. A return to what people consider “normal”—longer periods of time away from our pets – could be an unwelcomed surprise to them. And the transition may be especially difficult if they received more attention, exercise and enrichment than you will be able to give them once you return to some of your old habits and schedules. So, it is important to start taking steps now to begin easing your pets into this transition.

If you have a cat or dog, please join us for this free workshop where we will discuss strategies to help reduce stress and anxiety in our pets as we prepare for the idea of spending less time at home in the future. Time will be left at the end of the presentation for questions about individual pets and households.

90 minute virtual workshop via Zoom
