Nosework Enrichment Workshop

Engage your dog’s nose with this fun workshop. Learn about how dogs “see” with their nose and how exposure to novel scents can enrich their mental health. This workshop will feature very basic nosework principles and how to use scent detection as an enrichment activity for your dog. Students and their dogs will learn a variety of methods—from  simple nose work exercises to games to play (both in and outside of the workshop).

Participants should have the following equipment available during the workshop:
•Collar or harness
•Leash
•Treats (small and soft and plentiful — find at least 3 things your dog LOVES
•Training pouch, fanny pack, or pockets
•Several small and medium cardboard boxes
•A hungry dog (we suggest not feeding dog a meal right before you attend the workshop)

90 minute virtual workshop with dogs.
