The skills we will cover include sit, down, come, stay and leave it. This class also covers the importance of proper socialization during this growth stage and common behavior challenges such as jumping up. The first class is for people only.
We will cover the following:
- How dogs learn
- Proper socialization with teenage dog
- Sit
- Down
- Stay
- Come
- Leave it
- Not jumping on people
- Keeping your dog’s attention and maintaining good behaviors even when you are not carrying food or other motivators and rewards
The manners covered in this course are a prerequisite for other classes or activities you may wish to do with your dog in the future. This class is equivalent to Canine Manners.
All dogs must be 4-18 months old and current on vaccinations.
