Introduction to Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR)

Community and Advocacy Events

Wednesday, December 13, 2023
6 to 8 p.m.

Richmond SPCA Auditorium
2519 Hermitage Road
Richmond, VA 23220

Join local Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return practitioners and advocates Peggy Lynch, Missy Donovon and Teresa McCartney for an introduction to TNVR!

Through TNVR programs, community cat populations are humanely managed. Compassionate volunteers trap cats in humane traps, transport them to a veterinary hospital to be sterilized and vaccinated against rabies and return them to the location where they were trapped.

This work improves the lives of free-roaming, unowned cats by preventing reproduction and addresses public health through vaccination. Learn more about the Richmond SPCA’s TNVR program.

During this training Peggy, Missy, and Teresa will provide hands-on instruction for those wanting to help community cats through TNVR.

Registration for this free workshop is required. Pizza will be provided, and advance signups ensure we make an accurate order.
