OVER THE EDGE
meet the building
The Thomas F. Farrell II Building is Dominion Energy’s proud addition to the Richmond skyline. Its curved shape is inspired by the shape of a sail. The building was designed to LEED® Gold standards and includes energy-efficient lighting, a high-performance glass exterior and a one-acre green rooftop garden, with native plants to reduce water usage and support local wildlife.
1,200 employees work within the 414-foot tall building. On your rappel down Richmond’s second highest building, you might notice the fitness center, collaborative workspaces, three-story atrium and the original works of art on display, reflecting a diverse selection of artists and media.
