We Were Adopted: December 1 - 7, 2025

Last week, our hardworking adoption counselors found lasting, loving homes for 71 pets, including Rum, Helen, Sheath and Rowdy! Congratulations to our new alumni and to the wonderful adopters who opened their homes to pets in need.

Heartwarming moment of the week

Notable adoptions

Jester: When Jester came into our care in July, our veterinarian learned that he had multiple serious injuries, including a nonhealing forearm fracture and painful hip damage. Our veterinary team performed surgeries on both hips to relieve pain and improve mobility, and ultimately his damaged forearm had to be amputated so he could heal comfortably. After several procedures and time in foster care to heal, Jester was ready to find his match and he found just that last week. With time in his new home, gentle exercise and continued veterinary follow-up, he’s expected to regain strength and thrive in his new life. Huge congratulations to Jester and his new guardian!

Sheath: Our team met Sheath when she came into our care in August. Sheath was born missing part of her upper eyelids, which caused irritation and led to the removal of her right eye. After surgery and some healing time in foster care, Sheath was ready to find her lasting, loving home. We're excited to share that she was adopted last week! Congratulations to this sweet girl and her new family.
