Notable adoptions

Popsicle: Popsicle (aka Poppy) is a precious 6-year-old beagle who had been looking for her perfect home since March 2023. Almost three years to the date, Poppy finally found her lasting, loving home, and we're so excited for her! While with us, Popsicle made several best friends who she accepted into her inner circle. She could be a little nervous around new people, so if she invited you in, you knew you were special. Huge congratulations to this sweet girl and her new guardian!

Sissy: Sissy is a sweet 10-year-old who we first met in December. While in our care, our veterinary team discovered lesions on her ear flaps, which were biopsied. The results came back as actinic dermatitis, caused by exposure to UV rays. Unfortunately, Sissy’s lesions didn’t respond to treatment, which led to the removal of her ear flaps.

Thanks to her loving shelter pals, Sissy was given a variety of head pieces to help her feel like herself again, and it certainly helped. After several months of waiting for her person, we're thrilled to share that Sissy was adopted last week. Congratulations!

Para: Para came into our care in September, and she quickly stole everyone's heart. While waiting for her perfect match to come along, this adorable 15-year-old spent several months in foster care, where her foster guardians shared that she was affectionate, silly, and loved listening to the piano. After patiently waiting her turn for many months, this perfect senior girl found her home. Huge congratulations!
