Birthday Parties

Celebrate a birthday at the Richmond SPCA!

Birthday parties may be scheduled during the following times:

• 5 p.m. Fridays
• 10:00 a.m, 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturdays
• 12:30 p.m and 3:00 p.m. Sundays

We recommend that you schedule your child’s party at least six to eight weeks in advance for the best date availability.

We need at least one adult for every five kids to stay for the duration of the party, and additional adults are always welcome. Parents or hosts provide food and drinks for party guests.

$250 for 10 children (including the birthday child); $12 for each additional child up to a maximum of 15 children. This party is best for children ages 8-16 years old.

This party package includes:

• 1.5 hours in our party room with a Richmond SPCA party host
• Each child will help make animal enrichment items for the cats and dogs in our care
• A special visit from one of the dogs or cats in our care
• All paper products (plates, cups, napkins, utensils and tablecloths)
• One Richmond SPCA goodie bag per child
• Setup and cleanup by a party host

$300 for 10 children (including the birthday child); $15 for each additional child up to a maximum of 25 children.

This party package includes:

• 1.5 hours in our party room with a Richmond SPCA party host
• One small “adopted” stuffed animal (cat or dog) per child to be taken home in a carrier box that he or she will decorate
• A special visit from one of the dogs or cats in our care
• All paper products (plates, cups, napkins, utensils and tablecloths)
• One Richmond SPCA goodie bag per child
• Setup and cleanup by a party host

$350 for 10 children (including the birthday child); $15 for each additional child up to a maximum of 25 children. Available for children 5 and up.

This party package includes:

• 1.5 hours in our party room with a Richmond SPCA party host
• One large toy dog or cat that each child will stuff, adopt and take home
• A special visit from one of the dogs or cats in our care
• All paper products (plates, cups, napkins, utensils and tablecloths)
• One Richmond SPCA goodie bag per child
• Setup and cleanup by a Richmond SPCA party host

Cancellations made within seven days of the birthday party date are eligible for a 50% refund of the birthday fee. After seven days, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
