Miss Sippi has already been through more hardship than a dog ever should and we're asking for your help to get her back on her feet.
She arrived at the Richmond SPCA with a severe and chronic fracture in her right front leg. The injury was so advanced that our veterinary team had to amputate her leg to relieve her pain.
While many dogs adapt wonderfully to life on three legs, Miss Sippi faces extra challenges. Because of her breed and body structure, losing a front limb places unusual strain on her remaining joints. Over time, that added stress can lead to painful arthritis and mobility issues.
However, with the right support, Miss Sippi will stay active, comfortable, and full of the joyful spirit every dog deserves. That’s where you come in.
Miss Sippi will benefit from a specialized front-limb wheelchair designed just for dogs like her. The wheelchair will help redistribute her weight, reduce stress on her remaining leg, and allow her to move more comfortably. A custom fitted cart costs $900.

We're raising funds now to purchase the wheelchair that will make all the difference in Miss Sippi's recovery and quality of life.
Please consider making a gift today to support Miss Sippi’s journey forward.
Sending Miss Sippi home with the wheelchair she needs removes a major financial hurdle for her future adopter and makes it easier for the right family to say “yes” to giving her the loving home she deserves.
Every donation brings her one step closer to a happy, mobile life — and to the loving home we know is waiting for her.
Any excess funds raised beyond covering the cost of Miss Sippi’s wheelchair will be attributed to our Cinderella Fund, which benefits the other thousands of sick, injured and neonatal homeless animals cared for by the Richmond SPCA every year.
