Notable adoptions
Lelia: Lelia is a loving 7-year-old who had been in and out of our care since January. She became friends with many of our staff and volunteers and quickly became a shelter favorite. During her time with us, she went on several fun field trips and even got to visit CarMax Park. We're so happy to share that after several months of waiting to find her perfect match, she finally went home last week!
Brunswick: We met Brunswick in May, and since then, he gained his confidence and came out of his shell. When we first met this sweet 12-year-old, he was a bit shy around new people but thanks to our staff and volunteers who spent extra time with him, he learned to trust people. We're so excited to share that Brunswick found his best friend last week!
Papaw: Papaw is a friendly 13-year-old who we first met in March. He loved getting visitors and taking slow strolls outdoors. Senior pets often have a harder time finding adopters, but this cutie found his lasting, loving home last week. Congratulations!
