Heartwarming moment of the week

Thanks to all of the wonderful adopters who took home pets during out recent emergency Empty the Shelters event with BISSELL Pet Foundation, we were able to transfer 10 dogs from Marion, South Carolina last week after their shelter was damaged from flooding following Tropical Storm Debby. Dogs like Snickers, Reeses, Daphne and Daphne (pictured below) who were already homeless and awaiting adoption before the storm hit South Carolina, were evacuated and now will find lasting homes in RVA. We're happy to share that many of these dogs found loving homes last week, but we still have a few more waiting to get adopted.
