We were adopted: March 1 - 7, 2021

We are excited to announce that 56 pets walked out of our doors with their lasting families last week. Ratatouille, a sweet tortoiseshell cat who had been in our care for 7 months, was happily united with the Reams family by Adoption Counselor Lizzy Birdsell. Congratulations to the 13 dogs and 43 cats who found lasting and loving homes this past week!

Still on the search for your running buddy or cat nap participant for our upcoming 19th Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run? Please fill out an adoption survey and then call 804-521-1307 and leave a voicemail with your contact information. During our phone counseling process, interested adopters will be guided to view pets online while speaking with a counselor. We appreciate our community's patience and are excited to help families find their perfect match!

Please check our website for new information and details related to our planning and related operational changes, as that is where we will be posting updates. This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
