Last week, our adoption bell rang 66 times as we said a heartfelt goodbye to pets like Alpine, Marmalade, Big Jake, Couch, and Sofa. Huge congratulations to our furry friends who found homes and the adopters who made it possible!

Miss Sippi wheelchair fundraiser - Thank you!
Last week, we reached out to our community to help us raise funds for a custom wheelchair for Miss Sippi, a resilient 4-year-old needing extra support. She arrived at the Richmond SPCA with a severe and chronic fracture in her right front leg. The injury was so advanced that our veterinary team had to amputate her leg to relieve her pain, leading to her need for a new way to get around.
Thanks to your support, we met our goal, and now this sweet girl will get her wheelchair. Not only did we meet our goal, but we surpassed it! The extra money raised has gone into our Cinderella Fund to help the other thousands of homeless, sick, injured, and neonatal pets cared for by the Richmond SPCA.

Notable adoptions
Cee: Sweet Cee was transferred into our care in January. While this precious 7-year-old was in our care, she was calm, loving, and so ready for a home of her own. We're excited to share that after two months in our care, she met her perfect match. Congratulations!
Pumpkin: Pumpkin is a beautiful 3-year-old who we met in January. While in our care, Pumpkin was a little shy and nervous with all the loud noises, but found comfort in the stillness of her foster home. After waiting her turn for two months, Pumpkin finally found her person. Congratulations to this amazing girl and her new guardian!
Big Jake: Big Jake is a loving 10-year-old whose heart is just as big as him. During his stay with us, this sweet boy was silly, sweet, and very patient in finding his lasting, loving home. We're so happy to share that Big Jake is now enjoying life with his new best friend. Congratulations!
Couch & Sofa: Couch and Sofa are a sweet bonded pair of rabbits that came into our care in January. They were very friendly towards people, and loved snuggling up with each other. Last week, they found a home together. Congratulations!
