Notable adoptions
Piglet: Piglet is a sweet 8-year-old who had been in and out of our care since July 2025. While with us, Piglet had a few medical concerns, which kept her at the Richmond SPCA a little longer. Despite her diagnoses, Piglet was always happy and cuddly. We're happy to share that she met her perfect match last week. Congratulations!
Jonah: Jonah came into our care in January and was such a loving, precious guy! Although he spent several months in our care, he was always in a happy mood and loved spending time with our staff. Last week, he finally found a home of his own. Congratulations to Jonah and his new guardian!
Pique: We first met this handsome 1-year-old in June 2025 and started searching for his person. Pique became very close with our staff and volunteers and always loved spending time with them whenever he could. After a long search for his perfect match, we're excited to share he went home last week. Congrats!
Mapalo: Although Mapalo is such a sweet cat, he had spent many months waiting for his adoption day. This 3-year-old came into our care in January and loved visitors, treats, and affection. Because he has FeLV, it took a bit longer to find the right fitting home, but he finally found his new guardian last week!
