We Were Adopted: October 14 - 20, 2024

Last week, 69 cats and 14 dogs found a spot in someone's heart and a place to call home. We are so excited for all of the sweet pets who found their match. Congratulations to our newest alumni and their guardians!

Creature: Creature was adopted last week and his guardian recently sent us a sweet update!

"His personality is coming out! He had some zoomies in the yard, loves prancing, does silly things and we decided to call him Pinky from Pinky and the Brain. He loves his new bed and snuggles most the time in his blanket."

Pizza Planet: Pizza planet was adopted in August, and her new family let us know that she is fun, playful and loving.

Free vaccine clinic

Last week, we partnered with Richmond Animal Care and Control to provide free parvo and rabies vaccinations for over 200 dogs. The drive-through clinic was made possible through Petco Love’s national vaccination initiative Vaccinated and Loved, which is providing one million more free pet vaccines to existing animal welfare partners, including the Richmond SPCA, for family pets in need.
