Temporary traffic pattern change

Rhoadmiller Street Detours

Utility work on Rhoadmiller Street in front of our humane center and hospital will temporarily change how you get to the Richmond SPCA. We will update this page with changes to traffic patterns as needed.

Update for the week of September 2: All parking lots remain accessible. There will be flagging crews onsite to assist with traffic flow. A portion of the drive lane near the intersection of Rhoadmiller and Hermitage as well as on-street parking (on both sides of the street) will be impacted.

Lot A
This is the best lot to use for our humane center’s main entrance:

Lot B
This lot is nearest to our Volunteer Welcome Center. 

  • Staff and volunteers
  • Training class students
  • Overflow parking for the humane center
  • Pickup for Critter Campers

Lot C
This lot is nearest to our Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital and Smoky’s Training Center.
