The triple digit weather brought triple digit adoption numbers this week! We are thrilled to announce that 103 pets are now enjoying summer with their forever guardians. Special adoptions this week included long-term residents Petal, Pidge, Sycamore, Caty Cat and Blaze. Congratulations to our new alumni and their wonderful families! Please note that the Richmond SPCA has returned to requiring all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to mask while inside our humane center, veterinary hospital and training facilities. We are updating our mask policy in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who recommended vaccinated people in areas of “high” or “substantial” transmission of Covid-19 resume masking indoors.
