Donate

We were adopted: March 9 - 22, 2020

During these uncertain times, we have been incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our staff, donors, volunteers and community members. Whether it's participating in the Virtual Dog Jog, donating to help us continue our lifesaving work or adopting a homeless pet, we have been overwhelmed by our community's generosity. We are thrilled to announce that over 100 homeless pets have been adopted these past two weeks into lasting homes. Please view our galleries of our recent alumni below.

Interested in adopting a new family member? Potential adopters can schedule an appointment for adoption by calling 804-521-1307 or by emailing us. We are scheduling a limited number of appointments each day and at any one time. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless pet in need during this time.

Please check our website for new information and details related to our planning and related operational changes, as that is where we will be posting updates. This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
