• QCDs count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

How it works

1. Contact your IRA custodian and request a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly to Richmond SPCA.
2. Provide the custodian with our legal name, mailing address, and tax ID number (EIN) (listed below).
3. Your IRA custodian will send the funds directly to us. Please ensure your name and contact information are included so we know who to thank!

Gifts of Stock

How it works

1. Contact your financial advisor or brokerage firm to initiate a transfer of appreciated stocks.
2. Provide your broker with our account information (listed below) and let us know about your intended gift.
3. Once the stock is transferred, we will sell it and use the proceeds to support our programs and services.
