Pet Rehoming

Our free rehoming service is available for guardians who are unable to continue caring for their pets but who want to manage their pets’ placements with other responsible, loving guardians.

All information contained in the pets’ descriptions on this rehoming page has been provided by their current guardians. The Richmond SPCA does not verify the accuracy of the information provided. It is the responsibility of the individuals who express interest in a particular pet listed on this page to obtain and verify information about the pet’s history.

Looking to adopt a pet being rehomed?

We hope you’ll meet your match in these pets who are available for adoption! The pets listed below are being rehomed directly by members of our community, and are not at our humane center.

If you would like to meet a pet listed on our rehoming page, please make arrangements directly with the guardian listed on the pet’s profile. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with the pet’s guardian to acquire veterinary records, document transfer of ownership and other necessary information.
