We Were Adopted: September 1 – 7, 2025
Last week, our incredible team found matches for 90 pets! Among those were cuties like Cobbler, Ukulele, Hotch and Ruben. We’re so excited for our newest alumni and their guardians.

Notable adoptions
Hotch: After being in our care since February 2024, Hotch finally found his lasting, loving home last week! This sweet boy was a staff favorite and loved by so many. We are so excited for him and his new journey with his family.
Ukulele: Ukulele began her journey with us in April 2024 and has been waiting for her perfect match ever since. She came to us with injuries to her tail, hind limbs and her bladder. Because of this, her adopters need to manually express her bladder — a special responsibility that meant she stayed in our care a little longer than most pets. However, last week, Ukulele’s wait finally ended when she was officially adopted into her lasting, loving home. Congratulations to Ukulele and her wonderful adopters!
Ruben: We first met Ruben in December 2024. He was another one of our staff favorites who loved spending time on field trips with our trainers and volunteers. After spending over a year in our care, we are thrilled to share that Ruben was adopted last week. Congratulations to this sweet hound and his new family!
Starr: Starr was transferred into our care in June, and was always a joy to be around! She always carried a smile on her face, which was absolutely contagious. She loved spending time with our staff and volunteers, and especially enjoyed getting spoiled with treats. After 3 months in our care, this sweet girl met her match. Congratulations!
Pups, Plates and Pours
We had such a great time at our Pups, Plates and Pours event over the weekend. We started the weekend with our Kick-Off Pawty, which was a blast! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped our mission while enjoying food, beverages and more from 24 participating businesses.
