Enrichment for Your Dog’s Quality of Life

August 8, 2020
Saturday 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Instructor: Eileen Holst-Grubbe

Have you been baking bread, solving jigsaw puzzles or gardening in the last few months? If so, you know the value of enrichment to people. But, dogs also need ways to channel their brains and exercise their interests!

Many dogs do not receive the amount of physical and mental stimulation they have evolved to need as highly intelligent animals. Boredom in dogs can lead to a reduced quality of life, more rapid cognitive decline as they age and even some behavior issues.

This webinar will explore the importance of giving your dog outlets for his or her mental and physical energy, as well as how you can provide these valuable activities. We will demonstrate easy, budget-friendly, and fun ways to provide enrichment, and you will leave the class with loads of ideas and inspiration—whether you are working from home during Covid-19 or transitioning back to the office.

90 minute virtual workshop without dogs. For more information on virtual classes click here.
