We were adopted: December 7 – 13, 2020

Posted on Monday, December 14, 2020

It has been holly and jolly in our humane center this December! Last week, our adoption counselors sent 56 pets home with loving families. We are especially thrilled to announce the Kask, a cat that had been in care since February, found his perfect match! Congratulations to our new adopters and four-legged alumni!

Our team of adoption counselors are continuing to work very hard to catch up returning calls and emails and scheduling appointments for those callers to meet pets awaiting adoption. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please fill out an adoption survey and then call 804-521-1307 and leave a voicemail with your contact information. During our phone counseling process, interested adopters will be guided to view pets online while speaking with a counselor. We appreciate our community’s patience and are excited to help families find their perfect match!

Please check our website for new information and details related to our planning and related operational changes, as that is where we will be posting updates. This is a fluid situation, and we are planning thoughtfully while also being nimble to make changes as necessary to best protect our community’s pets and the people who love them.
