We Were Adopted: August 23 – 29, 2021

Posted on Monday, August 30, 2021

Precious pets like 2-month-old Glenn found their perfect matches this past week! This adorable kitten was surrendered into our care with his mom and siblings in July. While in foster care, Glenn showed signs of an eye injury and was diagnosed with a ruptured cornea by our shelter veterinary team. To relieve Glenn’s pain, Dr. Angela Ivey performed an enucleation of Glenn’s damaged right eye. With the help of loving animal care technicians like Katie (pictured), Glenn recovered well and was adopted by a loving guardian on Sunday.

This and many of our “happy tails” this week are made possible by our wonderful donors and supporters who help us deliver lifesaving treatment to over 3,000 pets each year. View Glenn and the 84 other wonderful pets who found loving homes last week in the galleries below.
