We Were Adopted: May 23 – 29, 2022

Posted on Tuesday, May 31, 2022

We hope that everyone had a safe Memorial Day weekend! Our adoption counselors closed the week off with finding homes for 60 cats, 13 dogs and a rabbit. A few notable adoptions include Ampersand, Chromia, Chargebolt, Tita, Splashy and Groot. View our newest alumni in the galleries below!

Since becoming no-kill in 2002, we have saved the lives of 64,359 homeless pets. Each lifesaving adoption is possible due to our dedicated team and the amazing adopters who open their hearts and homes to animals in need. We thank you for the support that has brought us to the milestone of 20 years as a no-kill humane society. Come celebrate with us this Saturday, June 3 at our Block Party!

Through our lifesaving partnerships with municipal shelters around the region, we transfer animals in need to our humane center where they are provided veterinary treatment and rehabilitation before they are made available for adoption. Many of those municipal shelters are struggling with space and staffing. We are making space for lifesaving transfers of adult dogs by finding lasting homes for the dogs currently in our care. Adoption fees are waived for all dogs 6 months and older through June 2. Visit our humane center today and meet your new best friend!
